With Invu document management software, each and every order, receipt, invoice, fax, email, picture, diagram, presentation, you name it, is sorted and stored electronically. THE TECHNICAL BIT (NOT)
This is where you'd normally expect to read the 'Technical' stuff. Not with Invu, though. We like to keep things simple. In fact, we've designed it to be so easy to use that you'll be up and running in no time. Here's a few of the things it'll do for you.

CREATING DOCUMENTS
Just click on the 'Create' button, choose your application (Word, Excel, etc.) and you're prompted to label your document in a specific way (or ways). The result? Everyone in the organisation is talking the same language.
ELECTRONIC IN-TRAY
Just like an in-tray on your desk, this is where documents (like previously scanned items or inbound emails and faxes) arrive and are stored before you look at them. When you're ready, you can categorise and label them in the same way as a newly created document. Or, you can grab and drag files to someone else's in-tray. There's also a preview function so you can check that the image or document is okay before putting it into the system.

FINDING DOCUMENTS
Any document management system will retrieve the document you're looking for if you know the filename. Invu's a bit cleverer than that. A lot cleverer.

Find things by date, client, project or document type. Or just type in a phrase you know was used in it and Bob's your uncle. Then, once you've found what you're looking for, you can view it, email it, fax it or anything you like. And, if you edit the document, it'll automatically save itself as 'Version 2' so no one gets confused.
OUT OF THE OFFICE? NO PROBLEM
With the internet option, Invu lets you retrieve documents from your network even if you're in Sydney. Or Slough.
PUTTING PAPERWORK INTO YOUR PC
The 100% efficient office? Well, we're getting there. Now, whenever you get something on paper, scan it using Invu and you can throw the paperwork away. (Maybe that should read 'recycle it'?) Bye bye storage. Bye bye filing. Once in the system, you can still scribble notes in the margins as much as you like. Just electronically now.

EMAIL AND FAXES
Bring your email and faxes into Invu and you'll get a lot more out of them. Each one will be automatically filed just like any other document (and so can be retrieved in any number of ways too). And you can send and receive faxes to your PC, cutting out the paper. You could even send a fax with attachments - just like email.
