In response to feedback from users of the website and Frequently Asked Questions from customers, Arrow has updated its web site to include greater detail about all of their products and services.
The features and benefits of each solution are explored in more depth, and the reasons for choosing Arrow as your preferred document managment supplier are examined.
The first page for each product provides a brief introduction to the solution, but following the link at the bottom of each page (as shown on the right) reveals a more detailed description of the product.
After years of looking, Arrow has relocated its principal operation to a new site in Tamworth.
Following months of planning the move was completed at the start of October without any interruption to production ensuring that the high levels of service provided to all their customers continued.
The new building gets all production staff under a single roof in one large room and customers' documents are always close at hand. It has also allowed the streamlining of work in progress, which will show up in improved delivery times to all of our customers. Our staff now all have much more space and a far better working environment. By staying close to our roots we have also made sure our staff do not have to travel any further - a very important consideration as it take months to ensure they are trained to our high standards, and we did not wish to see any leave.
The increased office space has allowed all the sales team to be closer together, and builds on our emphasis of team work. We also now have an excellent meeting/conference room to demonstrate our products and services to new and old customers.
With the planned strengthening of our sales team and additional space, we are now in a position to expand the business and prove further we are one of the top document management companies in the country.
Keep watching our web site for new and exciting announcements!

Arrow has just received the British Standard ISO 14001:1996 certification for their environmental management system to accompany their existing ISO9001:2000 certification.
In a world where a company's environmental performance can have a significant impact on its success, the internationally recognised ISO 14001 certification means that Arrow operates in the most cost-efficient and environmentally responsible manner possible by managing its activities and complying with applicable environmental legislation and policies.
Arrow has increased their monthly scanning capacity by a massive 40% by the addition of Kodak's i840 scanner to their current high volume document scanners.
As well as providing faster scanning speeds, the i840 also offers improved image quality with Kodak's PerfectPage and iThresholding technology. The colour scanning capabilities of the i840 also exhibit a huge leap forward in the colour image quality available from a high volume scanner.
Arrow continues to use Kodak's own software to control the scanners to ensure that the customer's finished product is of the highest standard, and that every benefit of Kodak's technology is used throughout the scanning process.
The England team using the maps scanned by Arrow (pictured right) had a final practice flight over Bank Holiday. Neil Gabriel writes that he got tremendous value from the scanned maps and was "delighted at the speed the maps were scanned, the quality of the images, and particularly pleased that they show up so clearly when used on my hand-held navigational computer".
The competition starts in Australia on the 26 June and as soon as Neil receives the competition maps Arrow will be scanning them to help the team's accuracy, as missing the target by just 5 metres will be a bad result!
Arrow Imaging wishes Neil and his team the best of luck, and look forward to hearing how he gets on at the end of the month.
Preparations for Neil Gabriel's trip to the World Hot-air Balloon Championships in Australia continue apace. Neil's priority at the moment is to get himself and his crew fully operational with the new moving map system before they travel down under in June to compete against the world's finest.
Although ballooning has remained traditional as far as standing in a wicker basket is concerned, that is where the tradition stops. In recent years radios and GPS satellite navigation have been introduced to help us fix our position on a map - but now the era of digital moving maps has arrived, taking constant position data from a GPS receiver.
Neil is currently trialling a moving map which is based on the HP iPAQ pocket PC and uses specialist mapping software. This wouldn't have been possible without the support and assistance of companies to get involved to help with the mapping project.
Arrow Imaging has kindly come forward and will be scanning the specially produced maps used in competitions - they will be supplied in a digital format to suit both a traditional PC and the hand-held HP iPAQ units loaded with Memory Map Navigator software which will be used on in the competition.

Waterstones confirm that their utilisation of Docunet continues to reduce outstanding debt associated with their invoicing process and that they achieved a pay back on Docunet within the first nine months. Waterstones began using Docunet in 1999.
A 10,000 sq. ft document storage facility in Tamworth managed by onsite Records Manager, David Moss. All paper, CD and microfilm based records are logged on Arrow Imaging's computer database and are available for hard copy or electronic retrieval. Many companies choose to use this facility to spread the cost of scanning large volumes over a period of time and also to centralise their regional offsite storage thus minimising costs.
